Show Your Love for the Chewelah Farmers Market!
The I Love My Farmers Market Celebration™ marks the fifth
year American Farmland Trust has thrown a party for our nation’s farmers
markets. Previously called America’s Favorite Farmers Markets™, this year
instead of voting for your favorite market - participants, that’s YOU, are
pledging to spend dollars at the Chewelah Farmers Market.
The pledging process is very simple, simply go to
www.lovemyfarmersmarket.org and search for us. Once you select your market the
rest is easy, and there is a super cool No Farms No Food® bumper sticker in it
for you after you pledge to support favorite family farmers.
Once you have pledged to spend $10 at the Chewelah Farmers
Market share with the world what you spent your “My Ten” - and pledge again the
next day! I Love My Farmers Market Celebration™ aims to secure $1 million
dollars in pledges by the end of the summer.
The celebration is part of the American Farmland Trust’s No
Farms No Food® Campaign. Since its founding in 1980, AFT has helped permanently
save more than 5 million of acres of farmland.
